OBU Screen Protector Installation Guide

Installing your OBU screen protector is quick and easy. Follow the steps below to ensure a smooth, bubble-free application and optimal privacy protection.
 

Before You Begin

• Wash and dry your hands to avoid fingerprints and dust

• Power off the OBU for better visibility

• Install in a well-lit, dust-free environment

Step-by-Step Installation
 

Step 1: Check for Protective Film

Check from the top right corner to see if there's a protective film. 
You'll need to remove the protective film first before sticking the new screen protector on.

Step 2: Clean the OBU Screen (If required*)

Use the provided wet or alcohol wipe to remove fingerprints, oil, and dirt.
Dry the screen completely using a microfiber cloth until it is crystal clear.
*If you just removed the protective film, it is very likely your screen is clean. *Skip Step 3*
 

Step 3: Remove Dust Particles

Inspect the screen under bright light. Use the dust removal sticker or tape to lift off any remaining dust.
This step is crucial for preventing bubbles.
 

Step 4: Align the Screen Protector

Before removing the backing film, place the screen protector over the OBU to check alignment and orientation.
Ensure the privacy side faces outward and edges are properly aligned.
 

Step 5: Apply the Screen Protector

Peel off the backing film slowly.
Starting from one side, gently lower the screen protector onto the OBU, allowing it to self-adhere smoothly.
 

Step 6: Remove Air Bubbles

Use your finger or a cloth to gently push bubbles from the center outward.
Minor bubbles may disappear naturally within 24–48 hours.

Installation Tips

• Avoid installing in windy areas or near fans

• Do not touch the adhesive side during application

• If dust causes bubbles, gently lift the edge, remove dust with tape, and reapply

• Recommended to install in bright area
